You know you are girl when....

Your entire body hurts because, yes, mother nature is about to hit.  My body is in shock because I have not dealt with this this in like seven months. But alas, it is happening.  I am in the worse mood, I almost told two guys off in class today because they were arguing with each other and destroying my concentration...and one of them is actually my friend.  I am totally having a long talk with Eve when I get to where I am going.

Anyways. I decided to attempt to buy a new outfit for this weekend.  This led me to two conclusions.
1.  When Mother Nature is about to strike, you feel as if you look fat in EVERYTHING.  Eventually a gave up.
2. There is NOTHING at the Dalton Mall.  Which really ticks me off.  Everyone complains about how no one shops in Dalton, which means that Dalton cannot make money.  Hello there is nothing to buy!! I am sorry but the group you are catering to do not have the money to buy expensive clothes so why not cater to the people who will actually buy things? Yes I know that every single one of you is like "Wow, Sherika you are being really vocal on your feelings."  Yes, yes I am because I am just not in the best mood...which means I probably should not be writing a blog, but oh well.  You know that you are secretly thinking the same thing.

This weekend can not get here soon enough. Any of you who I will see this weekend, I promise to be in the best mood possible.  I love 4th of July and cannot wait to see the fireworks!

You're the loves of her life, and a guy would be lucky to come in fourth.

I am not about to go into to detail the meaning of "true" friendship. However I am about to be a bit over dramatic (surprise surprise). This blog will be more of letting you in to some inside jokes...okay half of yall have helped me with them today, BUT I have put them all together to make a really over dramatic scenario that will never happen, but it is freaking hilarious.

First: Jordan and I totally had this conversation over her getting an iPhone 4.
Me: dude! we will be like twins and can play word and face chat...we are gonna be the two coolest ppl E.V.E.R! haha jk but it was kinda funny to be that over dramatic and to know that sadly it is true
Jordan: haha... YES! I can't twinsies! Bahaha... Um. We already are the coolest people EVER. Um.. We are overdramatic.

Second is a bunch of different conversations that revolve around the same thing. I am leaving names out..it makes it more interesting...over dramatic much?
Me: Since when are they friends? Why is that everyone I hate are friends...OMG they are plotting against me! IT'S A CONSPIRACY THEORY!!!!
Five Minutes later...OMG they are going to the same place that we are going! I told YOU it was a conspiracy theory!

Me: I don't think I want to do that this weekend (insert name) is going to be there and I am not in the mood to deal with her
Friend: Shut the f**k up! We are totally facebook stalking her right now!

Me: Yea we aren't going, (insert name) is going to be there.
Friend: You know what I don't really like her.  I don't really know her, but I dare her to say a WORD to me about you and I will let her have it!  Also I am talking to my brother about him hanging out with her, does that make me crazy?
Me: Dude I am crazy ex-girlfriend...wait I meant crazy girlfriend.

This led to me creating an outrageous scenario that I just told Jordan about. So if it does happen (which I doubt it will) please capture it on my iPhone and send it to Jordan's new iPhone:
Just picture it, a future teacher, a pregnant teacher, a mother of two, and an insurance agent are all at a bar watching a band.  They get a little too drunk (minus the pregnant teacher...who does not drink, because, well she is pregnant) insert name here girl is of course at the same bar because it is a CONSPIRACY THEORY.  Insert name here girl smarts off to these beautiful ladies. And a bar brawl breaks out. Yes even the pregnant teacher gets involved because of course she is hormonal and doesn't really like insert name here girl.  These girls of course whip insert name here girl's butt...

This is so a story for the Chatsworth Time come Sunday morning! And it would only happen in Murray County on the Fourth of July weekend.  BAHAHAHA this is why these girls are my friends and even though this will not happen it is still funny.

I'm thankful for the weekends but two days just aint gonna do...

This weekend has been one of the first weekends that I did NO homework! It felt amazing to get American Foreign Policy off my mind.  Josh and I did nothing to special, which shows how we are becoming an old married couple (yea I know we aren't married yet, but it feels like it sometimes).

Friday night we spent the night cleaning the house. I know exciting right? We had rearranged our living room and we felt that since we did that we should give the whole house a good scrub down.  Plus it is way easier to clean when both of us are in the mood to do it.  We also received a new (at least to us) and free couch and over sized chair! It is freaking comfortable and way better than the futon, that has been retired to the guest bedroom for the time being.
We plan to have someone to come out and deep clean it.  And yes, that is Soph's toy on the couch, she has already taken it over.

Saturday after I got off work, Josh and I decided to spend the rest of the day outside of the house.  We went to Red Lobster eat because it like my favorite place to eat! I could probably just go there to eat the biscuits.  Then we decided to go shopping.  This may sound wierd but sometimes Josh and I like to walk around the mall or Walmart just to look, even if we don't buy anything.  However this trip we did buy things.  Josh bought a Fossil watch, which surprised me because he doesn't wear watches, but of well.  All I bought was a magnetic calender to hang up on the fridge.  Josh is extremely forgetful so I thought that this might help him just a bit..we shall see! We also bought Sophie a surprise.

It is just a bone, but she seemed a but confused on what it was, so she growled at it for like ten minutes.

Today was our lazy day.

Sophie was extremely lazy, she laid under the chair for half the morning.

I got up this morning and cooked Gravey and Biscuits..Yum!!! After breakfast we hit the road and headed to Clint and Lisa's to lay out by the pool.  Once again, no homework was invovled.  Sophie is having mix feelings about the pool.  The first time she was in the pool was when she accidently jumped into the it.  Now we force her into the pool because we know she is burning up.

She is doing everything she can to get OUT of the water.  She bout had a heart attack

So overall we had a pretty uneventful, but amazing weekend. Josh and I are thinking about going to Six Flags sometime this Summer.  I have only been once and I was way too short to ride anything. So would anyone be up to go?

This thing called testing...

So tomorrow I take my GACE, and I am a nervous wreck!!! I do not do well on test, and it is even worse because I know that I HAVE to pass it to become a teacher...pressure much? So please think of my Saturday..I will need all kinds of prayers.

Also my cousin Noah called me to tell me the exciting news that he lost his first tooth. To him it wasn't as exciting as getting to shoot a gun for the first time. boys.  My aunt then got on the phone to tell me a funny story about Noah.  Noah's older half brother (they have the same dad, which means it is my step-cousin) who is 22 moved in with them.  There were eating one night and this is the conversation that Noah had with him:
Noah: Hey Zeke, would you like to come to Georgia with me?
Zeke (Who hates Georgai): Um, no I think I will stay here.
Noah: You mean wouldn't come to Georgia with me to meet a pretty girl named, Sissy?
Zeke: Who is Sissy?
Noah: You know, its SISSY! She is pretty brown eyes. But she has a Josh, and well I kind of like him.

At this point my aunt interferes with the conversation. She told Zeke that I was Sissy and that I was very much engaged. LOL So I guess that if I was not very much engaged my seven year old cousin would setting me up on dates.

Mitchell and Webb

Okay so I LOVE British Humor.  My teacher, who lived in England for 3 years is all the time showing us clips of different shows.  The two links below are from Mitchell and Webb..They are so FUNNY.  The first is a best man speech, the second one is called the Explorers (it may not be as funny to yall because it is more History Humor), and the last one concernes Scooby Doo!

Be warned, British humor is a little different for American humor.

Being a Bridesmaid is a work out

So Amy had the BEST wedding and wedding reception.  Everything went so smoothly that at the reception Amy looked at me and said, "Wow! I cannot believe that there was no drama!"  We were all in shock.  But Amy was the queen of organization and I am convinced that helped so much!

Amy was BEAUTIFUL! Her dress was perfect for her, and she looked like a princess! I am so happy for her and Jason. He is an amazing guy who really loves her.

Okay, so my ENTIRE body hurts.  I helped Amy do everything that she needed me to do, and although I had a blast doing it, my body is paying for it now...I really think that my arms hurt from carrying Kinsley down the aisle. Josh had rub them Saturday night and I had to sleep with ice on one of them So I guess if any of yall are wanting to work out just walk around with a baby or be a bridesmaid....jeez I sound like a pansy..I really need to get back in shape

Questions

Question 1
Do any of you feel the need to constantly be with your guys? I mean I love Josh and I love spending time with him.  We have so much fun together and I can't wait to be married to him.  But that does not mean that I feel the need to spend every moment with him.  Like today, he went golfing with Zach and I didn't go.  Sorry golfing is just not my thing. Plus I had a paper to write. So he went with Zach....and Christina.  I mean when Josh ask me to go places with him and I can, I say yes without thinking.  But there are times when I am completely okay with him being with his guy friends.  So is right of me or do I need to be with ALL the time?

Question 2
Okay I am wedding planning mood!  I wanted to ask what yall think about my cake idea for Josh.  This is a total surprise for him.  I found this wedding cake topper:
Josh and I spent 90% of out lives at a baseball field, so I thought that I would get this and make the cake look like a baseball field.  What do yall think? His mom doesn't really like the idea. She wants me to do one in the shape of his car, but I am scared that if they don't do it perfectly then it will be A-W-E-F-U-L! Also I plan on getting him a Braves jersey with his name and number on it, so this cake would go along with it.  This is why I wanted to go with the baseball cake..what do yall think?

Wedding Craziness

So  I was up at seven this morning, not bc Amy needed me yet, but bc Sophs thought that it was time to get up.  So up I got.  And of course at that point wedding craziness set in!  I went to Amy's house at about 10:30 to start helping her.  We officially have all of the food ready for tomorrow.  We checked off her check list, and packed everything into our vehicles.  We are going to finish decorating later on tonight.

Now I am extremely excited but for two totally different reasons.

1.  I am SOOOO excited for Jason and Amy.  They are so cute together and I know that they really love each other.  It was so much fun helping today, and enjoyed working with Ashley, Amy, Nanci, and Sharon.  We laughed and made sure Amy stayed calm.  She is actually handling everything really well...way better than I will be.
2.  My wedding has finally set in.  Today kind of made it real that hello I am getting married next year! And I will need Amy and my bridesmaids to help me.  However I am more excited about the honeymoon haha

So today has been a blast, and I CANNOT wait till tomorrow! I love weddings! I have finally that I will probably cry, because I cried like a little baby at Tabitha and Ed's.  I am also a sucker for anything wedding or baby.

Don't Imply things

I have come to realize that maybe I have offended some people through my blog.  This has NEVER been my intention, and I am actually having trouble writing this because I said from the beginning that I was hear to speak my mind.

Everything in my blogs are true...completely.  They are also from the heart.  If I did not 100% agree with what I was saying then I would not have wrote it.

So here is the deal.  One, if you are truly here to read my blog to know about what I am thinking and what is happening in my life, then stay reading.  Two, if you are hear to judge me, then leave.  I am not forcing anyone to read this blog, and you cannot force me to change my views.  Three, I do not judge anyone else who has a  blog.  I read them with an open mind and the appreciation that I am allowed into each one of yall's life.  Lord knows that I have done things in my life that I regret and I am sure that I will continue to have regretful moments.

If you have problem with anything that I have written, please speak to me about it.  I will be more then welcome to explain.  I will also be more then welcome to say that we can agree to disagree on subjects.  Everyone has different opinions, this is because everyone has different journey's in life.  I also believe that everyone is mature (maybe I shouldn't) so the mature thing to do is to speak to the person who has offended you, NOT imply things.

Also this should be noted...I rarely apologize..call me stubborn and I will totally agree.  So if anyone wants any apology, you will probably be out of luck on that one.  I have apologized to one person via this blog, and she TRULY deserved it! It had been a long time coming and owed her that. I only wish that I could have said it earlier to her.

A moment, a word, or a conversation can alter a person's life

I think that there is someone in this world who I need to give thanks to.  She has no idea how much she has impacted my life.  I truly believe that God has put certain people in my life when he knew that I needed them the most.

Three years ago this month I was forced to change my birth control pills.  I had cysts really bad on my right ovary and instead of having surgery on it, I convinced my obgyn to do change my medicine.  However she fail to mention two side effects. 1.  I threw my guts up EVERY morning at 3:00.  It was SOO bad. 2. If you looked at me the wrong way, I fell apart.  I cried all the time.
To make this work, I was dealing with two crazy roommates, my apartment flooded, two of my education books were lost, I missed home really bad, and Josh and I were having issues (to say the least).  I ended having a breakdown while off at college.  I literally cried myself to sleep every night. It is the lowest that I have ever been.  It was so bad that I decided it was best to move home.

There was one thing that really kept me going.  Actually a person. This person has no idea how much her conversations meant to me.  I had known her most of life, but we were never extremely close.  However, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we sat through Van Sickle's History class and just talked.  She reminded of me home and we gossiped about all of the people from there.  I quickly realized we were alike.  We had gone through similar things.  She has no idea how much her hour long conversations meant to me.  It really helped keep me sane that last semester at college.

Today we went to the pool and just hung out. Nothing big, but it helped me to relieve some stress.  To this day, I still have random conversations with her.  I still complain to her and tell her all about my problems.  So one person, one moment can truly change a person forever.

Thank you Jordan, you have know idea how much you mean to me.
